I have over three years of experience and I am certified in all eight weapons - with additional experience in lightsaber and khopesh & shield! So... does that make it ten?

After spending a month and a half in Egypt, I’ve grown even more connected to my roots. I’ve always carried a deep appreciation for both of my cultures — and for the many others that have shaped my world.

I fought with a khopesh and leather riveted shield. The role became more than a performance — it was a chance to inspire young girls and women of color while bringing Egyptian history to life.

Tap and musical theatre are my sweet spots, but I also have experience in jazz and hip-hop. Along the way, I’ve had the joy of serving as dance captain and co-choreographer for several musicals — some of my favorite creative collaborations yet.

Growing up, family dinners meant home-cooked meals made with love, and that stuck with me. Between the recipes I’ve learned from my parents and Nanna — and my love of fueling up for the gym — I’ve become passionate about making clean-ingredient, well-rounded meals. Cooking is one of my favorite ways to care for people, too. Just ask any of my cast mates — during a production, it’s not unusual for me to show up with a box of homemade blueberry lemon scones or chocolate chip cookies.

I used to row crew in high school and play tennis, but these days I’m all about a good lift at the gym, a new yoga flow, or a hike with a view that makes the climb worth it.
